The Bellefonte Evangelism Ministry mission is to spread Godís word within the church and the community and to call people everywhere to believe in and follow Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
This ministry has touched the hearts of others by assigning greeters in the vestibule each Sunday morning and partnering with our Hospitality ministry to welcome guests as they enter service. Develop outreach programs that effectively turn guests into members.
Acts 16:5 Small Groups
Bellefonte’s Vision To Glorify God, Make Disciples and Serve All People
Purpose – There are several aims to these groups:
“To care so deeply for one another that we not only share in the gospel of God, but to also share our very own lives.” – 1 Thessalonians 2:8
To help people to recognize God’s presence in their normal everyday activity.
To encourage people to become more comfortable in praying and talking about their faith.
To practice the calling of all believers in which each of us is empowered to listen to each other and to minister toward one another.
To develop additional leaders who are given the opportunity to create a fun fellowship event or short-term ministry that is meaningful to them.
To provide multiple avenues for new people to be invited, welcomed and connected.
To give people an additional way to encounter and engage the scripture.
This is not a typical Bible Study. This is a small group that meets for a short period of time to offer support and encouragement for one another as we grow in our relationship with God.
Important Things to Know:
All groups will meet on Sunday’s following the morning service at first to establish the group and the expectations. Then as a group, another day and time can be agreed upon.
This is designed to be a four-month weekly commitment. Some flexibility can be agreed upon once the group is established with the group leader.
The group time will be one hour or less (or more) depending on the activity. If a special event is planned by your group leader, you will have prior notice.
We ask that you commit to one group at a time. There will be a break after the four-month time period to allow you to commit to another group during the next timeframe of group meetings.
